Welcome to AISD PreK Share

The purpose of this site is to share materials made by Austin ISD Pre-k teachers. For teachers, by teachers!  This is a vehicle for sharing great ideas and materials. 

Hopefully, teachers can share and collaborate in a way that will positively impact student learning!

• The materials on this site are only resources.  
• The Texas Pre-K Guidelines have been used as the standard in the preparation of the activities.  
• The activities on this site were created by developmentally and culturally responsive teachers with a commitment to meeting the cognitive and maturational needs of Pre-K students.  
• Please use your professional judgement and knowledge about your group of students (e.g., their background knowledge, community resources, native language, religious affiliations, etc.) when selecting among the activities.  
• Enjoy and have fun exploring this online resource!

Please feel free to add materials.  These are the most important rules to remember as you upload materials:

1. This is a public site.  Do not use photographs of students unless you have a current AISD Talent Release form signed by the child's parent.
2. Please be aware of any copyright restrictions when adding materials.
3. Make sure that the activity is developmentally appropriate for pre-k children. 
4. Give credit where credit is due.
5. Use the materials and see the results in your students' learning
6. Be sure to add comments to the bottom of the pages...we would love to have your feedback on the wiki and the resources
